Re: Working while stoned: How will companies cope?

Many companies have a zero tolerance policy and do random drug tests.  This won't change.  Either you have no drugs in your system or get fired.

I guess my questions are funny, but I don't know anything about this stuff at all. There are a lot of things I can't use because of stomach issues

I am trying to learn. I am old and someday I might need to use this

Do the edibles cause stomach distress?  If I ever needed to take it for medical reasons, I don't know if I could smoke it. Do they make a skin patch?

Good question @cherry.  My only advice is, if you get a cookie or a brownie, don't get carried away by how good the baking product may be.

The only thing different that could conceivably cause stomach distress is the cannabis itself. The ingredients in baked goods or candy are the exact same ingredients that are in any other cookie, candy, etc.

Taking too much of a sativa-dominant product, or a hybrid that is sativa-heavy can make you nauseated, and/or anxious.  Stick to CBD-heavy, CBD 1:1 balanced, or close to it, or small doses of indica or indica-heavy hybrid.

Every item will have something in the labeling that tells you how much THC is in one portion, and how much is in the entire container. Pay attention. Don’t use more than 10 mg and wait 2 hrs before taking any more. Many times a whole cookie or brownie will have 100 mg or more, so read the label before chomping on a “whole” anything. Can’t stress this enough.

I certainly don't think your questions are funny, cherry.

I was joking around because some of the comments about edibles (not yours), bongs and ziz zag, took me back to 1968.

Hey, I might need to use it one of these days, too.

That was my point @Moonchilde  Getting carried away eating a really good cookie or brownie and having seconds or thirds is unadvisable.  It has nothing to do with a difference in the recipe, with the exception of one addition.

Re: Working while stoned: How will companies cope?

I was for legalization before I dated a pothead and got to know his family. My niece who used to smoke also changed her mind about weed after she dated two different potheads. She no longer smokes it and is against legalization (for recreational use).
