Of course you were unable to answer exactly why they smoked if not to get high. Nevertheless, it would be interesting to see if you would like to have a doctor who just smoked pot operate on you, or your daughter (since they wouldn't be impaired). Personally, I'd prefer one that's sober, but then, that's just me.
Why would you assume that a doctor (or a lawyer or an airline pilot or whoever) would deliberately decide (for lolz?) to use marijuana right before a surgery, a day in the courtroom, or a cross-country flight? OTOH, there has been more than one pilot or co-pilot who have been yanked off planes or the tarmac for arriving drunk or hung over, a danger to the flight.
Why would you assume anyone would plan to deliberately do their job “impaired?” Oh wait, I know - it makes a better story the more outlandish and improbable it gets.

The psychiatrists are probably badly addicted to it thats why they've smoked it over the years....just like these college kids that are trying to get into the NFL they know they will be tested for marijuana which is illlegal in the NFL and they will risk losing that opportunity to make MILLIONS because they cant stand to be without it for even a short time...........if thats not a sign of addiction I dont know what is...............LOL
If y'all want to be potheads go for it....but dont say I didnt warn you.......
Honestly...I didn’t figure you as being this childish. Clearly I was wrong. I prefer it to stay up though, so others can see who stooped.

First of all I have no idea what story you're referring to and secondly it looks like you answered your own question. However, the point of that post was that Noel says these ah-may-zing DRs are smoking weed without being impaired. That's why it was brought up to begin with -- since she's sure they're not impaired by pot would she be happy to have them toke up before surgery? Context matters.

I was speaking of removal for alcohol, not marijuana. I have seen no information about pilot removal for marijuana in the US - I just “researched it.” Google didn’t provide me with a long list of marijuana-impaired pilots because...there isn’t any such list.
If you want to say that no one does any research but those who are anti, or that your sources are all legit and impeccable but no one else’s (who disagree with you) are - right back atcha. There is enough data out there to support just about any POV. We could play “my source is good, yours sux” forever. LOL.
If I want to say WHAT about research? I have no idea what you're going on about, lol. I said nothing about anyone's sources other than we can all do our own research. Seriously, how can we have any type of conversation if you keep pulling stuff out of thin air?
The comment about the doctors and surgery--which is what you asked me about--was related to Noel's statement and I'm quite sure you realize that.

You’re just having too much fun twisting. I seriously doubt that you actually want a genuine conversation from those who disagree with you, nor do a couple of others here. This thread is for those who are anti-cannabis by gum, and it needs to stay that way!
As to your last paragraph - I was well aware of that and my comment was quite apt - and I’m quite sure you realize that.
Going to bed now, so you can scoff and twist the night away.

Whenever I see a post begin to ‘disappear’,
it’s never posters complimenting each other.
