I tried buying jeans once and they did not fit at all like they were supposed to even though they were the size of jeans that I wear. Had to return. Never bought another article of clothing from any Shopping Network!

I never bought jewelry on any Shopping Network. Once  years ago, I bought a Kirks Folly keychain. It was so pretty and cost more than I would normally pay for a keychain. It fell apart in a month!

Depending on what state you live in, your tax dollars could go to the state for the state to divy up and in some states, your tax dollars contribute to your local area, where it is used for police, fire department, roads...etc.  I feel that if I shop in stores, I am helping businesses stay open and employees keep their jobs.  This is a free country, shop where you want... I'll not debate with you.

I still enjoy shopping at malls but the obvious answer to your question is your size is almost always available online.

The really cute clothing at the mall goes first and if your size is there it may have been tried on 10 times, stretched out or left on the floor of a dressing room.  In the finer stores more care is taken.

Most of the time the clothes from qvc are clean and free of body odor.  Jeans from qvc have often smelled heavily of dye though that won't wash out.

I would never buy clothing or shoes from a shopping channel or anywhere online that returns weren't available for free, or to a store in my area (like I'd order from Kohl's or JC Penney with free shipping, as I could return to the store if it didn't work).

I guess some people don't need to try on clothing and things just fit for them. That isn't my reality! LOL

People live in very different places with different access, personal mobility, time constraints, etc. Besides, if we all did the same thing, how boring a world or forum would this be?

OP was not making assumptions, but was asking for people to list all the reasons they do buy in this way.

I think the 'assuming' here was done by someone other than the OP.

Through the years I've purchased many quality jewlery pieces from QVC.  Why?  I like the price and style.  The piece I get the most compliments on, other than my custom wedding set, is a Robert Lee Morris sterling infinity cross.

Because in my town we have only a farm store and a W store.  I do not have to spend

money for gas at 2.60 a gallon, fight traffic and worry about hostile drivers.  The products are delivered in a fairly timely fashion and I can return within 30 days normally.  I hate it that local merchants can't compete but most of us can't afford the upcharge for buying locally even if we can find something.
