Ok.....who won?

It has to be Carly Fiorina. She's the only one who had the grace to point out the obvious without throwing name calling into the mix with DT.

I find it unbelievable that someone would not vote because of the perceived attitude of another voter.

It's our duty to become informed and vote for the person we think best for the job.  No blaming it on what another private citizen may or may not have said.

Noel, and Kasich had his own show on Fox for awhile,  and also filled in a lot for Billo.  Since we know that FNN is the most watched network, and their viewers the most informed,  Smiley Wink,  I'd expect him to at least be recognizable from there.   Plus, when he wonthe Ohio governorship, that was kinda big news. ..a big win for Republicans.

Again, I wouldn't think that everyone would know everything about their pasts and records,  but to at least know who they are without name tags.  Smiley Happy

Hi MK, thanks for that information!  I don't watch that station, so I didn't know he had been there often.  Good point, he is most likely pretty well known to a lot of people.

He was interviewed by remote on The View this morning, and I believe he said he had been in the House of Rep for 18 years, but I could be wrong.

Smiley Very Happy  Yes, or me.  It was a little hard to tell who it was directed toward, what with all that light print.  And I did say I was surprised people didn't know who was who.   IMO, you can't get away from them, all looking for publicity.

Yes he was a congressman ...he was a leader in balancing the budget in the 90s.. but I wouldn't expect a lot of people to remember that now. He also worked in the financial services industry. ..Lehman Brothers.   I just figured people would be more likely to recognize him as a talking head.

Noel, I watch FNN frequently, but mainly to compare how they present the issues vs other outlets.

Seems to me we have always been divided, that's what makes a horse race,

From the beginning, some were for staying with England, others against.  It's the nature of people.

I'm surprised people don't know them by sight, they're all in the news frequently.  It's important to know who is who.

How can a person not know them?  They are all prominent people, mentioned in the news quite frequently.   One may not be totally familiar with their records or positions,  but I can't imagine not knowing who they are.   People seem to be more knowledgeable about the intricate details of the Kardashians' lives than  who the candidates are for president.

This is the kind of attitude that makes people just not vote or even try to understand and follow the political scene. YOU can not imagine not knowing who they are?  What a one sided statement to make.....shows your ignorance in people in general.

All of the 11 candidates are not all prominent people at all!  Several are new to me this go around.  I watch the news, read the paper and yes watch TV. I am just the average Joe trying to understand how it all works and try to listen to every candidate to see who is who and what is what. To say everyone should know who they are?.... That is just hogwash!

Yes, every adult should know who they are.

Quite frankly unless you are living under a rock, I think we all know who all of the characters are on both sides.

If people do not know by now, then do us all a favor and do not vote.

I call that group of people. "low information voters".

People watch to become more informed, on what they aren't up until now. Please allow then so  all of us can be "high informed voters".  Some people aren't as well known, but we're getting to know them better. We definitely want to vote, that's what America is all about.
