Okay. I still don't understand how one can not know or at least recognize their names. Who was it that you were unaware of?

I pay attention to politics, but I don't consider myself an expert or anything, and I knew all of them and their backgrounds.

I consider all of them prominent figures too. I guess Kasich is newer to the national stage, but he was there for the last debate and got a lot of attention from it, so you should have known him from that.

Information is so readily available on the internet or through TV news. It doesn't take much to quickly catch up on the contenders.

Quite frankly unless you are living under a rock, I think we all know who all of the characters are on both sides.

If people do not know by now, then do us all a favor and do not vote.

I call that group of people. "low information voters".

I also have to wonder who it is that's an unknown. The only one I can think of who hasn't been front page news for a long time is John Kasich.

I find it unbelievable that someone would not vote because of the perceived attitude of another voter.

It's our duty to become informed and vote for the person we think best for the job. No blaming it on what another private citizen may or may not have said.

I realize that we live in a technology age but that is not an excuse. What did people do to find out about candidates prior to the age of Google? We still have newspapers and Libraries where one can learn a great deal.

I know not everyone has quick access to info but that is why we still have newspapers and magazines. It may not be as fast but you can find out things and talk to others.

Just a suggestion.

I'm not of that persuasion and I knew who they all were by sight. I not only watched the big debate, but I watched the smaller debate prior to that. I was disturbed by what I was hearing and seeing. By the way, you have to give me props for being a trooper: I watched the earlier debate with the four runners up plus the big debate even though it all seemed endless, and I'm a Democrat.

Noel, and Kasich had his own show on Fox for awhile, and also filled in a lot for Billo. Since we know that FNN is the most watched network, and their viewers the most informed, , I'd expect him to at least be recognizable from there. Plus, when he wonthe Ohio governorship, that was kinda big news. ..a big win for Republicans.

Again, I wouldn't think that everyone would know everything about their pasts and records, but to at least know who they are without name tags.
