That's so funny.  I too love the look of button down jeans but have you ever had a pair on and had to go the bathroom ASAP especially in a restaurant?  Not an easy task. I think that was the reason I stopped buying them.  Especially the well made ones with the holes so tiny.  It  takes forever to pry them open. lol.

I don't know too many companies that make them anymore.

I remember the now bankrupt "J Brand" before they closed had a high waist jean called "Natasha".  It was gorgeous.  I'm sorry I didn't buy a pair or two of those.

PS.  You can still find a few "J Brand" jeans like "Maria" on the "Theory" clothing website.  But very slim choices - only a few to be had.

I miss J Brand and liked many of their styles, I thought they would reorganize but it seems not so.

I always wore Levi's 501 button fly jeans. They are still available.

@Pink123  I just looked and there are around 150 results for J Brand Natasha on ebay.

I thought the "jeans," (with zipper in front), was to get in and out of the jeans. It is for me.

And it was "skinny jeans" that had no zipper,& just pulled up. 

And "leggings" (with no zipper. & fit tighter), often used a quite stretchy material.

Thans @VanSleepy .  I will check for a NWT 26 or 27.  Thanks - I forgot about Ebay.  They have some very interesting older things NWT at good prices.  Thanks for reminding me!

Well guess what?  I just went on Ebay and found a nice pair of midtone which is my favorite shade NWT in a 27.  Plus I will be able to return if it doesn't fit.  They were $238.00 and are selling for around $70.00. I'm short waisted (I think as it confuses me - very short from shoulder to waist but then everything is long downward.)  Again, thank you.

Here's pic of natasha.  Hope I don't have to go to bathroom in public if they work out.  I might be gone for awhile from the table. there are 6 buttons. lol.

I hate the fly front on jeans since the sipper pull causes holes in my slub cotton tops. I can only wear them with pull- ons.

You're welcome @Pink123 . I always check ebay when I'm looking for a certain style of something they don't make anymore. I usually find it, but not in the size I need. Glad you had better luck ☺
