It's definitely not a green snake. I can see it but can't seem to find the head, only part of the body. It's in the center of the pic, at B2.

I think the head is the bottom end. It looks like you can see it's eye.

Yes! The snake's body  is in an "S" shape and the head is towards the bottom, he's looking towards the 8-o'clock position.
