I love the different topics, but some have gotten out of hand. I mostly just read, but post more in beauty, home and kitchen. So many very kind posters there.

Some I just scroll on past, a few tough posters who try to make comments that just aren't necessary. Yes, I know everyone's opinions counts. Just treat others how you would like to be treated. It's really very simple.

@lynnie61 Welcome!🥰 I SO APPRECIATE your post because it expresses much of how I feel!❤ I simply do not engage in negative diatribe, but occasionally will state my opinion if I feel it matters.😁 When the barbs come, and believe me they do😂 I simply ignore them, so that my time here is never influenced by the comments of others. I TRULY believe that ALL viewpoints are welcome; even those I do NOT agree with, and should be respected as long as they are not vicious attacks.🥰 Sometimes silence is GOLDEN.❤

I first posted in 2017. It was the pet forums. My sweet little pup was very sick. There wasn't anyone I could talk with that could understand my pain. I came here looking for like hearted people who prayed for her.

I tried to be kind and helpful when posting. I also liked to kid around sometimes on different topics. There was only one person that I unfortunately got into an argument with. I apologized and decided that was not who I am.

But lately, it has become very uncomfortable at times reading some of the posts here. I know that our words hold a great deal of power. So I am trying to remember not to get involved if it goes awry. There is this old saying that says "if you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch". So I do.😂

I joined in 2010, and the forums were awful in my opinion. I could not believe how horrible grown adults were towards others. I would read sometimes with my mouth open. Seriously, I was appalled at some of the ladies, very "click" oriented.

The only thing that I miss from the old forums is that you were able to block certain posters, while logged. I wish that I could block some of the habitually bitter posters, that pretty much never have a good thing to say about anything.

I don't mind the moderation one bit.

I should have added that there are a lot of wonderful posters here as well.
