The Friday night parties were on this forum. A poster started them and would set out *snacks*. Anyone could join in and much fun.

I think this forum had a different title back then but it was always a general chat style.

I've been reading and sometimes posting since the very early days. I remember the HSN boards, and the QVC boards. Someone mentioned Shop Talk and that might have beent the name. We called them bulletin boards back then. I loved logging in and reading the boards. When QVC was a good deal and good hosts, I shopped a lot!  Got so many recommendations from the qvc boards.

I really don't watch much QVC anymore.  I am a long time customer who needs very little and no doubt will be downsizing in a few years. I enjoy the forums because of the information that is shared.  If I do decide to buy something it really helps to get other viewpoints.  And to add I understand the need for moderation but there was one incident not too long ago that put some of us in a very strange situation until it was resolved.  No need to discuss it now.
