When I lived in San Francisco, I had a friend who's name was and was also listed on his driver's licence "Rumpel Stiltskin".
I also, met a guy who's legal first name was "Star". And a woman who's legal first name was "Buttercup".
Yes, they all lived in San Francisco, CA

Honestly, this is a true story. My daughter is a neo natal physical therapist in New Orleans. They had a set of triplets born awhile ago and they were named Unique, Clinque and Anique. Seriously!! How about that?

I had a professor in college who taught meteorology. His name was Dr. Fogg. For real. At the same college I had another professor who taught cartography and his name, no kidding, was Dr. Exline. ![]()

I knew a woman named Candace Kane. She went by Candy.
A teacher I worked with had a boy named Kilo in her class. I thought that horrible and blurted out: "Didn't they worry about what police would think if he ever gets pulled over for speeding and has to hand over his license?"
No, she said she didn't think they worried about that at all because his middle name was Cannabis. Really. I hope he didn't have a sister named Mary Jane.
I used to do property research by owner name and there are a LOT of unusual names out there.

A family of siblings named One, Two and Three. One was a boy and Two and Three were girls. I knew a girl named Pebbles and another one named Seven. Her parents must have been Seinfeld fans!

Many, many years ago, there was a beautiful refined lady who worked as a teller in my bank. Her name plate said Agazalee Blodgett.
(No, I'm pretty sure she wasn't related to Leslie, LOL).
