when someone wishes to respond directly to someone (or you in this example) the @sign will tag that individual!

Beth-QVC but it only seems to work for the mods.

If the post is busy and you don't want to quote the person you are responding to, the @  followed by a name lets posters know who you are talking to.

@Beth-QVC, I asked Melvin-QVC why when posters try this on each other, they do not get the notification. I received Melvin's to me (see below/above - depending on your settings) but can't get it to work for myself. Is there something in our Settings/Preferences that we need to adjust

Beth I received your notification but nobody else's.

It seems like it only works for the Q Team but not for everybody else.
