I think if you add a "tag" to all of your posts, it will work like Twitter and anyone who responds to you or wants to contact you will use the "@" sign, then your username, and that way will see all of your posts and their post will go only to you.

If I am wrong, then someone please correct me.

I was just using it so that when people came back to read a particular thread they could differentiate between the comments above mine and then my response. They tend to all run together now.

I got a notification yesterday (Thursday) that another poster had replied to one of my posts with my "@" sign.  It was the first time that had happened to me, so I figured that feature was now operational.  So, I "@"ed someone else.  In the reply box when I first typed the "@" sign, I got a little drop-down box with several nicknames of posters in that thread from which to choose.  I don't know if the person I "@"ed got a notification or not, though.

So they fixed it so now it works for posters?

I'm on my iPad so I can't use it.
When I put the "@" in front of a nic on my iPad
and post my reply the nic goes away like it was deleted lol.

@dooBdoo is the most faithful in using the @ sign in her posts; however, even though she has used it in every post she has made to me, I have yet to receive a notification that my name has been mentioned [@] in a post.

@The only @ notification I received was from the mods:

 @Community_Team@ @mentioned you in Re: GAMERS you have a new home! a week ago

So, it's "working" for the mods, but not for the hoi polloi?
