As it pertains to qvc the unpredictability. Like in another thread, qvc periodically combines separate unrelated orders and places them in the same box or bag. If you need to return both, it becomes a problem as only one order number is on the invoice. You are paying for two labels (according to qvc) while they use only 1 to ship it out.

@Sassealassea,   I do recycle the boxes.  Since I live in an apt. I don't have the luxury of placing in the garage.  I always say, I'll wait for a couple more boxes and then all of a sudden I have 10!  lol

I give a big amen to the cardboard box delima.  Ive accumulated so many really big ones, that I'm going to pile them all in my SUV and take them to the dump. There's no way I can tear them up and get them in a recycling bin.

Cardboard boxes and packing materials.  Cardboard gets picked up every other week and it has to fit in the can with the lid closed.  If I don't cut it up really small, I may run out of room.  Yesterday, I received a good size box for the contents and it was mainly filled with bubble wrap.

3) Having to break down the boxes and packing materials and dispose of them.
