Re: What is the worse part of purchasing online

There are a lot of things I don't like about online buying.

Most importantly, you can't see the item or touch it!  Colors look different.  Fabric --- who knows what it really feels like?  Sizing is often different.

The shipping and handling.  Hate it!

Also, when I get the urge for something new, I hate to wait!

By the time the item comes, I'm like --- oh, well, so what!

Returns --- hate returns.

I just prefer to shop in person.  I love browsing, I love the experience.

I buy very little on line.....clothes must be tried on, I am pretty thrifty and don't like to pay to try on in my home.

I am still able to get out and about so I still do all shopping via my car, maybe when I am older that will change but for now, oneline shopping is not for me.

Re: What is the worse part of purchasing online

Honestly, the worst part is worrying about a site being hacked.  I just feel like my credit card info could be compromised.  I worry about brick and mortar shopping, too.  I still order online, but each time I enter my cc number, my 3 digit number, etc, I feel a little queazy.

Re: What is the worse part of purchasing online

Yup, those boxes do multiply.  You should see my front walk in closet...lol   I think that's the only downside to online shopping for me.  Returns are not an issue for me because I don't buy just to see what it looks like, I'm 90% positive that I know what I am buying and that I really want it before I buy it.  I know my body, my measurements, my style and I'm a fanatic when it comes to using size charts every time I buy something.  So, sizing is never a problem.  The 10%...is color.  Sometimes you do everything right but the item arrives and the color is not what it looked like on your computer screen.

@Sassealassea,   I do recycle the boxes.  Since I live in an apt. I don't have the luxury of placing in the garage.  I always say, I'll wait for a couple more boxes and then all of a sudden I have 10!  lol

Or 30....lol   For me, it started with the idea that I would save some boxes to put gifts in and before I knew it, the boxes took over my hallway closet.  I know I should throw the boxes out as they come in but that would be the smart thing to do....I don't always do the smart thing.

Sending items back to QVC. Ugh!  Takes too long!

Re: What is the worse part of purchasing online

1 .Not being able to see or try on the item before purchasing

2. Waiting for the item to arrive

3. Like the OP said...those darn boxes and wrapping materials. We have to

flatten all the boxes where I live and tie them together with twine. Gets
