There are so many commercials these days for pharmaceuticals. Can you imagine if QVC got into the business? Imagine the hosts selling Viagara for example. too funny!

That would be horrible.
I don't think drugs should be advertised on TV and in print.

I also believe that they should not be advertised, however some of the presentations could be very entertaining. But then you would have those here chastizing others for "making fun of a medical condition" ![]()

The US is one of the few nations in the world that allows prescription medication TV ads. I find those ads totally wrong on countless levels. While QVC couldn't sell prescription meds, they've already sold vitamins and related stuff over the years and, at times, came awfully close to using snake-oil sales tactics. I can certainly see the comedic value in some of those painfully awful call-ins, but I'd never buy any medicines or ask my doctor for an Rx simply because I saw someone pushing it on TV.

I agree....If you don't look at the happy people in the commercial and just listen to ALL THE SIDE EFFECTS...I doubt most people would ask their Dr about them...

I'd like to see Q sell mens clothes and shoes.

If it's not working, can I send it back within 30 days?

.....Or coming on the phone to declare that you've found research from a legitimate, highly regarded source that says the product is dangerous~!! That the pharm company knew as far back as when they tested on animals that the drug was capable of serious and often deadly side effects and they kept it from the public and advertised and sold it anyway......
Oh yeah, I can see it now.... huge can o' worms.....
