It doesn't happen to me because I don't do drive thru's, even at the bank!

In sales it's called 'asking for the order'. If you don't ask, the answer is always "no"!

Free, when they ask if I have found everything I always say yes because I surely don't want to hold up the line while they send somebody to look for it. ${#emotions_dlg.scared}$

I would just get it later or ask at the service desk.

minky, I don't tell them anymore either, but they did ask and I was honest.

It was frustrating to waste time searching high and low in different aisles or examine every brand when it seemed they were making an offer to help.

It's about sales. Whenever you dine out, you are asked if you want to start with an appetizer and after the meal, they always ask if you have room for dessert. The more they can get you to spend the better. Same thing at the drive through. "Would you like to try our new blah, blah, blah?"

Oh, I hear ya! I often want to say, actually I was looking for such and such and searched the entire store. But I'm afraid they will hold up the line for twenty minutes looking for something that must be very well hidden ${#emotions_dlg.crying}$
