@Travone

//I moved to a new state at the end of 2024.  I spent 2025 exploring my new area, meeting new people, and decorating my new house.  //

I can so relate!  We did this at the end of 2016!  Moved someplace where we did not know anyone.  Only regret is that I wish we had made this move sooner.  One of our most satisfying decisions ever and it took a lot of guts!

Wow!  43 years!  Congratulations on your retirement!  Did you give yourself a retirement watch? 🤣 😍

I don't really want to retire and lucky enough maybe that I can work until I drop, hopefully not any time soon. 🤣

@Bella8888 ... thank you!   Since I was a sole practitioner...... I'm the only one who could have given me a watch.   I didn't get one.  🤣

//OMG @Bella8888 I cannot imagine not ever doing that.  The Dallas Cowboys are only one year older than me and my Daddy plopped me down in front of them and I have not got up yet.  Even in high school all the boys knew any dates with me were after the games were over on Sunday and not just the Cowboy games.  Football is a way of life here in Texas.

What I did in 2025. let myself relax more about gravity affecting my body regardless of daily workouts.//

1/ I know, I know I am weird.  I'll own that.  😆🤣

2/ 😀 So, at one year old, what were the football day snacks like?

🥨🌭🍔🍕🥜

3/ Gravity rules.  🧲  May your relaxation land softly. 🪂

Re: What did you do in 2025 ,,,

I have to admit, nothing last year made me supremely happy and content. It was a crappy year in fact! Lots of health issues-- altho none serious but still kicked my tookus. The way the world is at present has me worried but mostly disgusted, and worse of all, had to euthanize my 16 year old cat-- that was brutal. The one bright spot was my DD landed a great  job!!!  Totally out of the blue and she so loves it!! But I have to admit--I am upright and taking nourishment---and that's better than the alternative. Hopefully this new year will be .........somewhat better🫤

I finally got rid of my COVID "left behinds."

Yes, I did it!  No meds, just eating healthy and exercising to keep my immune system up!

How many times did you hear, "If you are elderly and do not get a COVID shot..and you get COVID...you are dead!"

I'm 88, yes, I beat COVID!

Re: What did you do in 2025 ,,,

@jlkz - Thanks for the info the Bible study. Like you, I had tried reading the Bible on my own but knew I needed more info to understand it.  I've been listening to Les Feldick who had a Bible study on TV years ago, although I never knew of him then. His Through the Bible videos are on YouTube and I find them so informative.

I too enjoy the historical and cultural background as well as how the verses of the Bible are woven like a tapestry with the prophecies in the Old Testament showing fulfillment in the New Testament.

I will look up Fr. Schmitz and Jeff Cavins and add them to my study. The more I learn, the more I want to learn!  So definitely something I did in 2025 and will continue in 2026.

Blessings to all in 2026!!

I certainly can't say it made me "happier"

...But I became a Caregiver for my FIL (who was under hospice care), and I learned that there's nothing that the grace of God can't help one handle. Heart
