This is why I don't really start threads much unless they're about Nick Chavez. Lately a ton of threads have been getting closed and deleted because everyone keeps arguing over everything.
Don't know why, but a lot of people on this site have been getting mad over everything a lot as of late. Anyway, I'm fine just posting about Nick Chavez. Everything else seems to get a bunch of grumpy responses and then the thread gets locked or deleted.

I guess we are... what we are.
I think we express our conviction of what we believe to be our truths and get challenged or discredited, the threads can take a nose dive.
@occasionalrain ... I agree with your original post. The Bloomingdale's thread was interesting and lasted quite a while. But it always seems to end in a division between 2 sides. I can see why politics is not allowed.
I don't post a lot and am mostly invisible. I didn't understand what was so great about the old board. I like this board and sometimes moderators do us all a favor. When a thread goes too far and it gets closed. In the heat of the moment ... things can be said that are not truly meant.

Maybe the best way to go about things on this forum is to not let personal feelings get involved? Maybe that's why people get upset in the threads lately. They might think someone is being mean to them, but they're really not.
Not sure what will make people happy at this point.

I think most people know when someone is being rude or mocking them for no apparent reason, I know I do...........

I don't waste minutes of my life that I can't get back, worrying about what was........

I thought the same thing. And then occasionalrain posted "I don't think casting aspersions on fellow posters, even uunnamed, is anything but judgemental and snarky." I am confused. So confused.

I find it in order to respectfully post my opinion with a picture, as to keep peace...
