Do you tend to wash everything in cold water?

Linens in hot water, lights in warm water and darks in cold water.

Clothing gets washed in cold.  Towels and sheets get washed in hot.  

Workout clothing gets washed in warm.

I only have one temp on my old washer that works and I think its cold...

beggers can't be choosy lol

I had the motor replaced in my old dryer 3 years ago and it works great! The repairman told me they only make appliances to last 10 years not like in the old days where they can last a long time.

I wash everything except whites (which includes my towels) in warm water, my whites/towels are washed in hot

Depends on the fabrics, and whether they are whites or colored, and which colors.

Hot for whites--towels, undies, dish towels/ cloths---not all in the same loads , of course---

And warm to cool for the others
