[september]

I had already decorated for fall, but today I put out my Halloween decor, which includes ghosts, bats, and black cats.  Halloween decorating is fun!

I'm enjoying the fall foods and fruits.  Soup, chili and casseroles are coming back at our house.  The foliage is starting to turn into the beautiful colors of fall.  Most of the garden work is finished so a little time to sit out and  watch the squirrels gather nuts for winter. We live near a park and are lots of them coming to our yard for acorns.  It's a wonderful time.

Snuggling under my down comforter at night and looking at all the pumpkins around the neighborhood including mine which is the largest of them all!!

Right now, I'm sitting here alone enjoying my Autumn decorations.  This is the first  year in which I went  big.  It's gorgeous!  But tasteful, not Halloweenish.  I have my flameless candles on my  sideboard and on tables and I have garland that is fall leaves with tiny pumpkins strategically placed.  And a real pumpkin, of course.  So, I dimmed the lights and I'm enjoying the "glow".   I just need some fall scent in the house.  Something cinnamony  or appleish.

Definitely loving Fall. Love everything about it ~ even the rain. I've been burning soy sugar cookie candles for a couple of weeks. So nice.

Pumpkin Spice Soy Latte, apple dumplings and banana walnut bread, pumpkins, gourds,and mums for decorating and that big ole harvest moon. I almost forgot the leaves turning color, love that.

So am I! We had two days where it was in the 70s and I opened my windows, but it's been really humid and still 88-92 most days - just sticky and gross.I did fill my hand soap dispenser with some Philosophy Cinnamon Buns shower gel, but in the shower I'm still using Candy Cane and follow up with Josie Maran's Peppermint Bark body butter, because they're so cooling and refreshing. 

I can't wait to break out my cold weather items, but right now the AC is still on every day.

Where I live, it's supposed to be in the 80's one day next week.

It's been in the 50's today.

I have an air conditioner and a space heater sitting in my room until the weather makes up its mind.
