I went to tj's today and found some turquoise bath towels for a third of the price I was contemplating purchasing at another store. I love a good bargain.

It was rainy, murky and depressing here much of the day, but now the sun has come out and it's a lovely evening.

Hockey junkie that I am, I'm headed out to watch a friend's beer league game and then catch the NHL awards on NBCSports Network. Gotta get my Danny DeKeyser fix!

Whats new? New York, New Jersey, New England well you get the picture. lol. I used to say that as a kid so couldn't resist.

Whats really new is I LOVE Summer. My grandkids are now here 3X a week and We have been having so much fun! AND so far they have painted our dinette set, house cleaned as in did woodwork, windows etc. Next week they tackle cabinets.

Today I was told Im the best grandmother in the world when I put together brownies (one of them made) with ice cream and chocolate syrup on top. Haha! We always have treats for them. (Its good they all work on the treadmill and dancing)

Tonight's round of storms wasn't as physically destructive (at least in my neighborhood), but man did we get a ton of rain. The water standing on my back patio is up to my ankles.
