Well this one is a bit confusing

I checked for a package delivery status and found the order was sent from a UPS mail innovations facility in Ohio, has bypassed my city, gone to a city 4 hrs from me, other side of the same state and is still in process to be sent back to my city for probable delivery by 11/28.   If this is what the christmas delivery will look like, my advice is to order early.   Just sayin !

Yep, I had several orders showing they were delivered to Ohio, Indiana, etc and I live in Texas.  Plus, the delivery dates were before I placed the orders.  Called c/s and was informed there was a glitsch and that IT was working on correcting the problem.  I did eventually receive my packages, but one of them still shows it was delivered to Ohio.  Go figure.

I have been awaiting a D & C blouse for several weeks.  It spent a week going to NH (I live in Fl.), then it began this city to city trek for about 10 days.  Today I checked and it was delivered to my local post office.  So after 3 weeks it looks like it may be delivered today.

Re: Well this one is a bit confusing

I've had the same thing thing happen.

An order from PA warehouse went past me (in GA) to FLA, then I had to wait for it to come back up to me in GA.

I've also read complaints about a new Lasership shipping method that Q is "trying out" that's a disaster too.

You're right, I can see a whole lot of complaints coming to the forums about not receiving orders in time, so ORDER EARLY!

You all make me feel so good.  When I go away I pray that my packages are delayed.  No such luck, my neighbors have to save me and pick them up from the front door.

All my packages come very quickly.  I am rural.  In Maryland.  You would not expect anything to arrive on time here.

The written address means nothing initially.  If the barcode is wrong by a single digit or digits are transposed your package goes into outer space until someone figures out there is a problem.  Automation is only as good as the human behind it.  Years ago I had a similar problem.  My small town name is similar to a city.  It appeared people misread my town and bar coded to the city.  USPS located the problem because the origin was always the same and they got it corrected. No more problems except all services leave packages on my porch and do not knock.  If I expect a package I watch the tracking.   If I will not be home I call and ask that my packages be held and everyone is willing to hold delivery until my return date.

I got back from vacation yesterday.  I ordered a few things that weren't due to come until next week and they came Wednesday.  Things never ship that quick.  Oh well.  I sent a friend over to put them in the garage.
