Our weather in Georgia is finally starting after we were told and our warning still shows 1pm. They just announced several Waffle Houses have closed which is apparently a measure of how bad they expect it to be. 

I miss accurate, professional forecasting. I almost wonder if this is even going to happen the way they think it will. 

To my neighbors here in Georgia and the Carolinas, let's do it! ✊ High five the Yeti, if you see him pass you by. 🥶

@Laura14 Stay safe as it's supposed to pretty dangerous with freezing rain and all of that mess. 
My son is in the middle of the state - Georgia-and the temperature today was in the mid 60s. 
We have been getting sleet,snow and freezing rain since last night as we're three states West. I'm just waiting for my internet to go out. Luckily, four years ago we got a Generac whole home generator, so we'll be warm and able to cook.
