I'm a news junkie and have it on all day.  I've heard so many dire warnings about upcoming weather at the end of this week, deep snow and up to 3" of ice coating everthing across the South, including most of Texas.  They're saying Texas' storm could be more severe than the 2021 storm where so many lost electricity for days.

Everyone needs to be aware and ready for what's coming.  Stay safe!

There have been lots and lots of accidents reported up here too.  Icy roads and terrible visibility resulted in a 100+ vehicle pileup near Zeeland, Michigan.  We're traveling this weekend.  Roads should be ok and we will avoid snow but it's going to be pretty cold.

It looks dire this weekend for the DC Metro area.  We do not do well with snow here.

We will be getting anywhere from 1" to 1,350" of snow.

Bread, milk, toilet paper here we come!!!

Meteorologists in NYC are being very, very cautious thus far about what could happen here since it's still many days away.

As it moves north and offshore, the models are extremely divergent.

Some say 12 inches plus or absolutely nothing!  Will be interesting to monitor for sure.

Fog caused a 21 car pileup on the freeway near me a few days ago. Western Washington.

They always forecast doom and gloom and then nothing or a skiff shows up.

We have had more fog than I have seen in years here in northern CA.

@Mersha   That's 112.5 feet of snow!   You live in the north or south pole?

Weather these days is so unpredictable. Even the weather forecasting computer software has a difficult time with it. Staying prepared all of the time seems to be a wise thing to do from now on. I won't count heavily on what the weatherman says. I try to make sure I'm going to be alright as best as I can most of the time even if the forecast is mild. Beyond that, it's in G_d's hand.
