Before Sirius & XM merged we were able to buy a lifetime house subscription.  I think it was $500ish. 

 

I work at home and listen 8+ hours per day (that and Amazon Music)

We had free Sirius for 3 months. When that time was about to expire, I canceled my subscription and they then offered me another almost free subscription until this October. I was told they do this all the time. I will not pay their overpriced fees. I don't really care to play games with them, but it's what they do.
