Waiting on PA restrictions

[ Edited ]

Been patiently awaiting the new restrictions for PA businesses.  Two days ago, the state said “very shortly”  information would be released.   I thought it may make the noon news......still nothing yet.

And Gov. Wolf tested positive yesterday with Covid.

Sorry,  but I don't think we can help you with that here.  Call you state legislator.

Re: Waiting on PA restrictions

@lynnie61 I wish you luck. We cannot travel to NJ or NY for Christmas this year. Have not seen our grands in a year and I'm heartbroken we won't be there Christmas morning.

Many areas in my state (SC) have been declared red zones.

Re: Waiting on PA restrictions

I thought PA had a Covid website to get all the updated/latest info?  Why wait for the "noon" tv news?

Joisey & Delaware has one.

@lynnie61 - try going to PA covid website for updates or their Dept of Health.

@riley1  Are you in SC? If so are you saying SC is not allowed to travel to NY?

@riley1.  You could be there on Skype or Zoom, next best thing.  Get it set up and practice ahead of time.

Fortunately, Governor Wolf is asymptomatic and his wife has tested negative.

Re: Waiting on PA restrictions

@Kachina624 - Yes, that is what we are prepared to do. I will set my alarm so I can shower, dress and have coffee in hand! My grands live in NY and are 8, and twin 5 y/o. And, my daughter has to work and someone in her office tested positive so she had to quarantine for 14 days.

The other problem is my son lives at a facility in NJ and they don't have any of that sort of thing. He doesn't really get why he can't come here and we can't go there. Plus, he just had Covid - thankfully, a mild case it seems.

And, my hubby has heart disease so I really can't take that chance. This is just a screwy year for sure.

@riley1. Such a shame as the kids are at such a cute age for Christmas.  Hope the teleconference works for you.
