The article said he had trouble breathing and was completely laid out by the disease while quarantining. Not being able to breathe properly is terrifying. I hope he has no lasting effects.
I just found out my step sister is continuing to have problems post Covid recovery. And a musician friend of my husband and I, who almost did not survive his fight with Covid, still has breathing issues and can't play his brass instrument for longer than a few minutes at a time. There is still so much we don't understand about this virus. Please stay safe.

Well my DIL was diagnosed with it two weeks ago after she had symptoms. She is perfectly fine now. She thinks she may have gotten it from her daughter who was in day care. She said she just felt like she had a cold. My son, her husband, tested negative, and my husband and I never got it (that we know of,) and see her and the kids 4 days a week. She went back for a second test the day after the first one, and they were going to charge her a lot of money, so she said, "No." She is thinking the first test might have been a false positive, but who knows. Strange how some people with it don't feel anything, and others get very sick or pass away.

According to report, Prince Charles and Prince William had covid 19 at the same time. The reason that Prince William's bout was kept quiet was not to have the greater population concerned about both heir apparents to the throne being sick at the same time. Perhaps, they thought it might be a threat to the monarchy should they not recover as expected.

I think it was kept under wraps to avoid the criticism of him not wearing a mask and being careless about the virus.

@Chimi I suppose that makes sense. So ...... King George, perhaps? I know they like their royalty over there. But I would hate to think they would be totally lost without a King or Queen.

As The Royal Family has been under intense scrutiny this year for a plethora of reasons, it is quite possible they did not wish to be fodder for the avaricious media, during a very intense and private time.😊

@GenXmuse, doubt that trying to avoid criticism of him not wearing a mask would have anything to do with it if the reports are correct that he contracted the virus in April. England did not put a mask mandate in place until around late July, I think.
