Re: Vision Boards

[ Edited ]

A vision board does not have to mean you will accomplish what most would consider "goals" or things to achieve.

Vision boards are meant to release your inner feelings about your life circumstances.   To display your board isn't about trying to do it all.

Then the purpose is to look back on your vision board and think about where you were when you made it and where you are today.

It isn't about the future per se; it's about looking inside yourself to find what events you'd like on your journey in life.

You can make more than one, too.

I've done these in workshops I have attended and workshops I've co-chaired.

These boards are actually meditative.

As far as using magazines, etc. - those are not viewed as belonging to somebody else.  The pictures are meant to stir and stimulate your inner self.

Some people draw theirs; some do use mixed media such as material and metal items.

It isn't about what you use; it's about you and finding your grounding.
