I use my patient portal most of the time and have always gotten a responce,depending on my question/request--within a few hours or by the next day. I make my appointments, cancel appointments, ask for meds or prescriptions or general questions all the time.

I had my six month check up with my PCP yesterday afternoon.  Before I even left her office I had two emails from my portal, the receipt for my copay and the next appointment they scheduled for me on August 6th.  Takes the work out of all of it for me except driving over.

Most of the time its ok. The problem is sometimes a question follows a question so the back and forth is not good. Sometimes a phone call would be better.
