I am sorry that you are having that problem.  It sounds strange.

I have had really good luck with Ebates and I often use discount codes that the various stores offer and still get my Ebates rebate.  

I did have one problem once where I was not getting the extra cash back for having an Ebates credit card on some transactions.  It seemed to be from me using Firefox at the time as it worked in IE.  They corrected it and I got my money back.
