How absolutely terrifying @On It. So sorry that you and others in the path are having to endure this. I know your son was relieved beyond belief when you arrived safely at your evacuation location.

I think I read you have some pets?? What about livestock? What are people doing that have cows horses sheep Etc I have a couple of nephews that live in Carlsbad and work in the oil field industry.

Did you used to live in Texas? I think somebody said you were probably going back to Texas. Do you know if your house is okay at this point? So many things to do and take care of when you have to evacuate. Take care!

@monicakm We own a home in Texas and also one in Ruidoso. Unfortunately, our fur babies are gone. We have no idea what is happening in New Mexico. We brought our go bags and important documents. Currently, we are in shock. I will contact our next door neighbor today in case he has news. There are rumors flying on social media. I refuse to believe them until I have facts.
