Can't say I'm surprised. I bought a set from Target a couple of years ago and I could not get the lids on any of the bowls. I even sat on them and could not get the lids on. I even stepped on a couple and the lids still would not go on. Took them back and stayed with my Rubbermaid.

I recently read this
Tupperware is a global company now and their products are not made in USA anymore
The iconic brand is shifting production from South Carolina to Mexico. Tupperware is permanently shutting down its last standing US production plant in Hemingway, SC. A total of 148 workers will be laid off in waves starting September 28, 2024, through Jan.Jun 14, 2024

Re: Tupperware Filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy

Just recently got an invite to an online party and was surprised that they were still in business. I had just received a big order of LnL so didn't have any need for more plastic containers. I still use my green colander and yellow canisters that I "inherited" from my mother, both are probably over 30 years old and still going strong. It doesn't bother me that they're made of plastic, I would be hard-pressed to find anything that I use now that's not got some plastic in it, clothing included. I'm not a plastic fan but what are you going to do?

Target sells Tupperware.

I still use my Tupperware nesting measuring cups and my soup mugs with lids.

I see Tupperware at Farmers Markets, but I think it's overpriced.

Re: Tupperware Filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy

A few years ago Tupperware was sold at a kiosk in the mall. The prices were very high.  I only use certain brands of glass containers the last 10:years. But I still have the fix n mix and the 2 qt mix n pour bowl, and the ham keeper, even though we are vegetarians. I use it to store soupmmlol

Shoekitty said,  it ISoverpriced. Maybe to include sales commission. But it really is overpriced.  Not competitive
