I always seem to have trouble with FedEx.  It always screws up my delivery.  I was supposed to have a package delivered yesterday.  It never came.  This morning it said that FedEx will deliver today by the end of the day.  At 2:00PM I checked it.  It said there was an Exception (I hate that word!!!!) that they could not deliver.  I called FedEx demanded they drop the package on the porch.  We'll see what happens  but so far, no FedEx.

I never seep to have trouble with UPS......But you can't tell a store to carry your deliveries.

I have the same problem with Fed Ex, and unfortunately I have 3 packages coming on Friday, I'll bet they end up at my neighbors.

All the major messes I've ever had with shipping companies have been FedEx created.  Once they left all of my 90 day supply of prescription medication. at my neighbor's house.  They were gone on a 2 week vacation.  I was frantic and the idiot driver wasn't sure where he left it.  I eventually found it myself when one of their adult kids showed up.

I think many of their problems is they use contract drives for home delivery.  Where I am he doesn't like to come to our area for one delivery so he holds it!  Also, he often leaves it in our mailbox because he doesn't like to take the time to drive down our driveway.  I don't know why FedEx allows it.  DH has complained many times.

Re: Trouble with Fedex

[ Edited ]

I complained to FEDEX  2x

Once they refused to deliver cases of wine to the side door where the recipent lives and was angry when I refused to sign for it and then when they delivered  40lb  bag of bird seed to my sidewalk and not to my door  and then again in my driveway!

I am 82 and i cannot carry  those pkgs up 10 stairs and had to open them on a public sidewalk and carry each item up 1 by 1...........that said, my recent delivery  of my dogs food (1 small case) was delayed for no reason and delivered to my post office for delivery to my home............wow!!!

Hmmm...this made me think ,I just  might put away my Christmas tip for my Fed Ex guy and not give it to him!

I've always had problems with FedEx deliveries. One time they said they delivered the package - home all day, no package. Then the next time I got a notice that my pkg was delivered - um, no it wasn't. I called the company and they were showing the same notification. I explained I was home all day and they were very generous and shipped another pkg.

When I called FedEx, they swore they were here. I told them I was here all day, no pkg. I had to go as far as explaining where I lived, what color my house was, blah, blah.

Original Package turned up exactly one month later - I don't know where it was hiding, but it was in bad shape.

Now when I know I have a package coming, I turn on my Blink cameras so I have proof if someone came or not.

@riley1 , I have a Blink system also, it certainly is nice and gives you a good video of who comes to your front door. UPS, Fedx and USPS have been recorded dropping off my packages.

My package just arrived!!!!!  I'm overjoyed, beside myself. From now on before I buy something online, I'm going to ask the store if they deliver via FedEx.    the worst thing FedEx ever did to me, was deliver my package to my address, but it was two states over. The person that lived there sent it back to FedEx. I finally got it ( the driver threw that package on the porch via a mighty heave)  If someone was standing there, good chance he or she would be beheaded, 2 days later.

Funny, but not really. I am trying to find my Laura Mercier package that was "delivered" to me today by Fed Ex.

On tracking it says "If you can't find your package, sorry, that happens sometimes. Check your front porch, side porch, garage, bushes & then check with your neighbors."

So, I have done all of those things. No package.

LM always ships Fed Ex & I am not sure that I have ever had a package get to me without me going on a hunt or a neighbor bringing it to me.

I am glad you had a favorable outcome to your dilemma. I have read horror stories here on the forums, of others who were not so fortunate. I feel bad for them, having had a couple of UPS snafus lately myself. I cross my fingers that I don't have an issue with Fedex too.🤞
