Still pain free after eating a hardy breakfast.
A small filling came out of a bottom back tooth. I thought I swallowed it in my sleep. Found it on my bed.
I live in N.J. Not going to a dentist until a TRIED & TRUE vaccine is discovered/available. In the meantime, all pharmacies have OTC tempory dental fillings. Will use if it becomes necessary.
You know that is a temporary solution. I have gone to the dentist for cleanings and two fillings. They take every precaution for your safety. It is important to take care of your teeth because it could affect your overall health.

People I know don't do stupid stuff like party hardy and get looped in large, unmasked crowds, swim (no water to swim in around here) go to beaches, attend music concerts, we're all squares. LOL
These people having big weddings, parties of all sorts inviting all ages of people who have been no telling where with no telling who are just asking for trouble. What the media doesn't tell you is I bet the majority of cases are amongst the ladies of the night, etc.
I think there is a very rational reason that the media hasn't told us that the majority of cases derive from "ladies of the night, etc."

@Mz iMac, how strange to read this because I'm going through the same thing. I had off and on a weird sensation in an upper tooth that is crowned. It is more a feeling of pressure and gnawing than downright pain.
I recognize it, though, because that's exactly what I had that turned out to be an infection that led to an implant. I had thought for months that I just had TMJ. I even had therapy for it. I'm sure that my months-long delay didn't help things.
So tomorrow I had an appt for a routine cleaning that I was probably going to put off. But I called to see if I did go in, would they have time to check out this tooth. They will, so I am going in.
I'm also going in for an overdue mammo this week.
I am very risk-adverse, so this is a big step for me. :-)

I've used that toothache pain killer stuff a while back and it really did help. It smelled like cloves and I believe the clove oil was supposed to help disinfect. I used the temp filling stuff as well. It helped tide me over until I could get an appointment.
If you are away from home or it's the weekend (or scheduling is goofy due to a pandemic), these things can really help out. It is good to have them in your medicine cabinet or kit. Because like @Mz iMac shows, when you neeed them you really need them right now.
I don't envy you at all @Mz iMac, toothache pain is like nothing else. I'm very happy for you that you could get your sleep. Eventually you already know you're going to need to go to the dentist because it's a lost filling. But while you're getting your courage up and finding a dentist you are comfortable with to protect you well, this really will help. Wishing you the best possible outcome.

@Mz iMac My dentist thinks that I am crazy when I tell her this. She always tells me that there is nothing wrong with my teeth, but I do not want ot be out where I cannot find it (and I think that I have been to a few places like that).

@Porcelain " toothache pain is like nothing else."
I have a high tolorance for pain. I am a deep sleeper. I can sleep right through a nuclear disaster as well as a bad migraine. If a toothache wakes me up, guuuurl you know I am suffering. God help the person around me at that time. Even my cat knows he better stay hidden.
