The original (and IMO best) 007, Bond James Bond.

I remember the climate in the 1960s when Ian Fleming's books were new. The cold war was on and the Bond character in books and film became a huge hit glamorizing spying. Connery was very suave and attractive as Bond and aged very well even when he got bald on top. My mother had a crush on him!

Sean Connery was the Grand Marshall in the Tartan Day Parade in New York City in 2002.

He was a good choice to lead the parade.

When my teen friends were in love with the Beatles and Elvis, I was in love with "Bond, James Bond"

I thought he was great in the movie "The Rock".

I think it may have been his first film, @Pearlee .  It's a fun movie, and Sean is adorable in it!  I have the dvd....watch it every year around St. Pat's Day.

Yes my favorite Bond...and a good actor...Loved him with Costner inthe Untouchables

But as a man....not great. Once said in an interview...A wife needs to be smacked around once in a while....they enjoy it....
