Did you have yours today ? It was originally created in a pharmacy in 1904 by a pharmacist apprentice David Strickler who loved to experiment with new soda fountain sundaes in his free time. College students loved them so much they were willing to pay 10 cents which was double the price of a normal sundae. . Unfortunately I no longer eat banana splits since I am Type 2 diabetic but loved them years ago so please have one for me !

When I was pregnant my ob/gyn said it was important for me to get lots of calcium and potassium and wrote me a prescription to ensure that I did.
My prescription was 1 banana split a week all summer long.
Loved that guy!
