Interesting thing about the greeting cards...does anyone send them? We hardly EVER get or send. Most people prefer E-Mail. A few of our older friends like them.

I also buy all the gift bags at Dollar Tree. Cards, gift bags, tissue paper all end up in the garbage.

What year are you pricing on? When I was a child, gasoline was 5 cents a gallon. It isn't now. Salaries are way up. Minimum wage as well as salaries have risen.
My first car loan, 1970 was $106.98 a month. It was a very nice midsized car. What is the average today? Again where are the salaries?
Don't get me wrong I wish my dollar was worth more than it is, but for every rise, there is a fall.
I think it's just better to be born a millionaire. Excuse me, these days it's better to be born a billionaire.
