Like a fellow in Gwinnett county last Christmas, he HAD a gorgeous live pine tree in his yard that was decorated beautifully.. some FOOL hooked it up to his pickup truck and stole it!! Man that owned the tree had a security camera and got the whole thing.. Decorations flying down the street but this idiot pulled the whole tree out the ground and was gone!!
@Suziepeach, that's terrible!!!!
****
@loveschocolate, it was heart breaking to see that poor tree being drug down the street & the culprit wasn't driving slow either. What the heck are people thinking? Stupid stupid stupid!!!

@jlkz, nothing surprises me anymore... How awful they cut the top of that beautiful tree for their own.. some people are, well I'll keep the adjectives to myself. Glad the tree grew back to it's self!!!

@Suziepeach, I have had my "trash cans" stolen. The list would be too long to post here, but my solar lights, ladder, gas grill are just a few items. Ticks me off!!!!

My Daddy (God rest his soul) noticed gas being stolen from his vehicles in the driveway and carport plus they took a piece of his driftwood from his flower bed.. a piece of driftwood! Anyway, being from a small town and all, he called the police and they came up.. my daddy showed them what he was going to do... he hooked everything up to electricity, not to kill them but enough voltage to get their attention. One night my daddy heard a huge noise and there was a man being bounced between vehicles.. needless to say no more gas was ever stolen..

@loveschocolate, OMG that's terrible!!!! I can't believe all of that, just gone!! We are the only ones in our whole subdivision that have a streetlight... it's on our property and we pay for it plus we have all sorts of motion lights and keep a dusk to dawn light .. None of our neighbors do, oh maybe a little light but nothing like our Prison.. People live in the dark and don't have a clue as to who is lurking about stealing or going through their stuff.. It's amazing and I truly hate your stuff and things of others have been stolen!!!!

@Suziepeach, we have since put up motion detector lights. Like your dad's fence idea, however!!!!

@loveschocolate, up until he passed away, he always warned us when we'd go visit, "Don't step on that copper wire and don't touch anything." LOL and let me tell ya, we didn't!!
Gotta love these motion lights too, I don't know why so many choose to not have lights or anything, I mean it's dark out here except for our place... Lite up to the hilt!!

@momtochloe, thank you!! The police stood behind him when he told them first what he was going to do.
