There is a young woman lifeguard at the pool and her name is Hazel - she is about 20 years old.  Named after her great grandma - she said she loves the name.

Thank you for your very intriguing reply!  I enjoy learning about name origins.  My mother decided on the name Cheryl but Sharon and Carol were also contenders because I also was given a Hebrew name, so Mom was looking for something 'along the same lines'.  My Hebrew name is Chaya which translates to English sort of as 'life'.

My Hebrew name is Enna Leah I was named after my dads Mom who was  named Ann. My English name is Ellen Linda

When my daughter told me the name of our first granddaughter, I asked where the heck did she find a name like that - I was actually shocked - its grown on me (thank goodness) and now I find it beautiful (as is she) and timeless.

Her name is Evangeline Grey (the Grey is my Mom's biological birth name). People also call her Angeline, Angelina and other variations.

Her twin sisters also have beautiful names- with their middle names coming from family:

Vivienne Reid (Reid was my Mom's adopted last name)

Seraphina James (James is my hubby's first name)
