There use of the word ""historic"" was ridiculous to me. What ever happened to severe or just plain a lot of snow. Of course they the news people and weather forecasters are going to make a mountain out of a molehill. They always do. I take it with a grain of salt. In there case a grain of snow.

And this is why people do not believe it when truly bad weather is coming...because the media over-hypes. After a few of the over reactions we no longer believe what we are being told.

Exactly. DH heard someone on televison today say that New York got a ""historic dusting"" .....That's not to say some places aren't getting slammed but the over hype is a problem because in the future people may get caught in a mess because they didn't believe the weatherman.

Saw this on FB and it struck me as funny.

I saw this and just had to share, as it made me laugh!! Our area was under warning last night for a severe snowstorm. We were told to be prepared for about a foot of snow, when in actuality, we only got a bit of a dusting! I am not complaining, just thought the joke was funny. Now watch, we will get three feet tonight because I said something! ;) Blessings, MB!

Although the storm did not impact some states as expected, Massachusetts is getting hammered. I don't think it is such a good joke.
