Marp, I could not get in or out of a bathtub if you paid me right now, unfortunately.

I almost went thru a window, I fell so long and hard, lol. Empty house, missed the last stair and went flying, with gusto.

Ouch!! Feel better and take it easy. {#emotions_dlg.wub}

DH missed the last step going UP the stairs, went flying and dislocated his shoulder. Gracefulness abounds, I guess! {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

I hope you didn't break anything or tear some tendons. So sorry for your fall. Depending on your age, a fall can be extremely destructive. I hope you can get x rays soon.

Thanks. No tendons, maybe broke the foot and a finger. Otherwise just sore--I hyper extended my arm trying to stop myself from going thru the window and just a lot of other soreness. No hips or anything, thank goodness.

Hyperextending can result in a dislocation of the shoulder, but believe me, you'd know it if that happened. Excruciating pain. I'd ice a few things if I were you, especially if you think there's broken bones. Listen to me....LOL. You'd think I was a nurse.

About 8 to 10 inches. Our Selectman said we dodged a bullet - Most of the snow fell to the east of us.

Yes, I think the storm moved 50 miles east. That is why most of us dodged the crazy amounts of snow.

Glad you are ok. Smiley Happy

I'm in Westchester County and part of the county had 3"" while other parts had 10"".

It's still cold and windy.

Hi muttmom,

Later on, I will call my family in Westchester. They live in the New Rochelle/Scarsdale areas. I am curious to find out how much they got.

It is cold out there today. No sun here, so it feels raw.

24" in my town. The storm was not as widespread as they predicted, obviously, but certain areas were as bad as they said, while others got just a few inches. One local radio station said that the Patriots conspired to create this storm to deflect from Deflate-Gate, LOL.
