sure that when it turned nasty it seemed to be a clear case of baiting ..

I mean it was a subject that it was a stretch to get into an argument

Isn't it baiting when a QVC host tells all kinds of lies (I should probably use the word tales instead of lies) trying to get the viewers to buy a product?

Yes. I don't know what happened to the one I posted on... but next time I came back to it....poof! It was a subject you would never think would go "off the boards".....having to do with a certain item used for decor. Oh, well....it is what it is. Why can't they just poof the offenders or give warnings? They used to give warnings. I always thought that was a good idea. I may have missed something but I wished they would at least give a warning.

They poofed a thread in the Home forum about roosters. Baiting was one of the reasons.

I have no idea how a thread about roosters needed to be deleted. LOL

Even my DH cracked up yesterday when a host was presenting a cheap rotary lawn mower and said it would be great to get into places on his six acre farm that his riding tractor can't get. DH asked if the host was serious and I said you hear tales like that all the time.
