I've seen "baiting" several times before.

"Baiting" has always been a reason for deletion, nothing new.

And in my own personal opinion, it should be.

I've seen it but not really sure what it means. I'm guessing it is when you purposely try to upset someone. Like when my parents would say "now don't egg her on".

If you post a baiting type of topic that would obviously invite polarity and  provocative responses, then you are looking for something the Mods want to prevent.  It’s not new to this board and common on other forums. Sometimes baiting is being a troll, sometimes it comes of boredom to look for a lively discussion, sometimes it comes when a poster wants to throw the hand grenade into a forum and then say “who me??” As if the Mods are the bad guys. 

Baiting is a valid reason to have a thread or post deleted. The Mods maintain the standards for any forum. Compliance means your posts get read because they remain.

Call me nieve, but I am shocked at all the baiting on this forum.

People wanna get their gloves on and go rounds at times.  lol.

I guess its part of any forum.  And sometimes some forget kindness.

I doubt it would have been an issue if a relatively new poster hadn't actually included it in one of her responses.

Sounds like they possibly had a post removed for this reason, just guessing here.
