Re: The Biggest Stereotype Of Every State In America In 1 Map

grew up in a cold state, moved to an expensive state and then did the smart thing - moved to a smart state!! (which is just as expensive as the expensive state!)

i am curious about the ""haunted"" stereotype...I have never thought of any state as haunted.

I laughed at the stereotype of my beloved home NJ. Whatever, we have it all. Do not understand though Cali being considered expensive when it actually cost more to live in NJ then Cali.

New Jersey is just "bad." Not a word about money. Does it cost $1 million to buy a house? Is gas $4+ a gallon?

I think it's curious that Maine is the only white state.

Ohio important? Hmmmm....who knew? Lol!

{#emotions_dlg.laugh} Can't you picture a bunch of confused--and politically uninformed--people typing, "why is Ohio so important?" {#emotions_dlg.lol}

Wouldn't it be great if Ohio was important in some other way? {#emotions_dlg.w00t}

Re: The Biggest Stereotype Of Every State In America In 1 Map

I have to laugh that there are states labeled simply "good."

The idea that a bunch of people actually typed, "why is Oregon so good?" mystifies me, and makes me question the validity of this map. I mean, who asks, "why is Oregon so good?" Seriously. What kind of Google responses do people expect to get after typing in such a vaguely-worded question?

ETA: Nevermind. I just Googled it...it's about sports. No wonder I didn't "get it." {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

Funny. I don't get a few of them but most are spot on. Especially Texas!

I don't know if it's politically uninformed ... every election, I wonder why the rest of the states bother to vote. We could just let Ohio be swamped with campaign ads, and leave the rest of us out of it. Which is sad.

But ... I wonder about the people who really need to Google "why is Montana / North Dakota / Michigan / Wisconsin so cold?" Did they skip geography?
