I like the word "Christ" in Christmas, and I realize that other holidays are celebrated during the winter months. 

I like to celebrate them along with the holiday that is the one I celebrate. 

Sometimes I say "Merry Christmas".

Sometimes I say "Compliments of the Season".

Sometimes I lsay "Happy Holidays".

 

Said with joy and caring and Good Will, they are all lovely things to say to one another.

 

Using any of them as a "war cry" defeats the joviality of the season.
