@Krimpette....this is your "inner voice" talking to you.

Call QVC at 1-800-345-1212 and order item number M-54804...or get on your computer and go to QVC.com.

The price is only $46.84 plus free shipping (which you know is built in the price of the cake already) and if you have a Q CARD...you can put it on 3 easy payments.

Don't disappoint me.

Photoshop?  Smiley Happy

Nothing wrong with a $50 cake if it is a really good cake.   I've spent more than that for Smith Island cakes (I blame shoekitty for that!). '

Generally, Junior's makes pretty good products.   Their lemon coconut cheesecake cake is really wonderful if you like lemon and coconut.  But I believe that QVC stopped selling it.   Last I saw, Junior's still had it, direct, though.

@chickenbutt  That lemon coconut of which you speak was just on in yesterday's gourmet food show but in a 12pk of mini assorted cakes.  Boy was I tempted.

Thanks!  Yeah, they have them in the minis but the whole one is much better, IMO.   The large lemon one they sell now is an entirely different one that's just cake, no cheesecake.

I don't know why they stopped selling the whole lemon/coconut cheesecake cake a while back.  Maybe it wasn't a big seller.  Usually, whatever it is that I like nobody else does so it goes away.  hehe Smiley Happy

Oh sorry for a moment I thought that this thread was about ME! ME! ME!  Woman Tongue

I have a recipe from long ago for an orange cake my mother always baked.

Lemon cakes are a fave, too.

The most I've ever paid for a cake is $30.
