@BirkiLady - yes. Buy 1 gift card or multiple gift cards and they're 10% off up to $500 in gift cards.

I've never heard of this either but then I rarely shop at Target so don't pay a whole lot of attention. I just picked up six yesterday for Christmas gifts.

Target has offered this the first weekend in Dec for several years now. 10% off all gift cards until max is reached.  They do select a few designs to choose from, not all they have in stock, and a few for other occassions like birthday, birth of baby etc.

@Shelbelle - my target has never limited the designs. I always buy 10 different holiday themed cards.  Oh, maybe you can't do the branded themed ones like Lego?

When you buy them online they do limit the designs and selections, there are still plenty to choose from just some are not included in the discount. I ordered one last year for a baby gift and about 4 designs came up but only one was included in the discount offer.

Just a reminder that this is the weekend for the 10% discount on Target gift cards.

I was at my store when they opened at 8:00 this morning and bought my gift cards. Such a great deal.  And I used my Discover card to pay for them.  Discover is offering 5% cash back at Target this quarter so I should get 5% cash back on the purchase.

@millieshops - I am not @Shelbelle  but I can answer.  You do not need a Target credit or debit card.  But....

You do need to download the Target app and be a member of their circle thing, which is free. Then, in the app, you save the offer to your "wallet" and you'll need that when you go to checkout.

Just placed my order for 6 cards, got an addl 5% back by using Pay Pal with a deal from my credit card.

I didn't know you could use Paypal to buy gift cards? 

Target online checkout never gives me that option. Gotta buy them with a cc only.
