The one time I ordered it was just online, not through the app.

Daughter #2 orders from Temu.  She started with household and yard things but she has started buying things like shorts, leggings, tank tops for ridiculously low prices.  I saw a few things and they are definitely not shoddy, cheap things.  Her shorts and tanks that I saw were similar to anything you would see at Target, WalMart.  You have to order through the app and I'm hesitant about putting the app on my phone.  She has a second phone that she uses for shopping and web surfing.  I did ask her to look for some padded headbands and some thick socks for me.

@chrystaltree  you are right. My brother in law orders almost every week. I'm surprised at the things he receives. The quality is equal to what you see in the Stores here. He plays tennis and he has gotten a few things and also toe less compression socks. I was shocked  at the quality.

You do not have to order thru the app though.  I order on-line and declined to download their app.  I only order my bras thru them, 3 for $9.99 and let me tell you after searching for years and spending lots of $$ on bras I finally found ones that not only fit but are comfortable all day!  I also find they are equal in quality to the bras I used to buy in the $20 - 30 range.

Thanks.  I did not know that.  I just assumed you had to use the app because my daughter uses the app.  I've been looking at their Christmas decor items.

I wondered about this too... wouldn't going thru PayPal ensure security for you?

And this might sound naive... I don't think any entity in China would care if they had my info? I'm not a secret agent.

Lol - that's a good one @LTT1 .  I don't think there are any special or wealthy people on this forum that China gives a rats azz about.

Well I certainly don't want the government of China getting access to my mother's bread pudding recipe... 😂.

Exactly. I signed my life away along time ago to Apple, Google, TikTok, SHEIN, and Amazon. I have never been hacked, my identity has never been stolen, nor has my life savings-disappeared.

I've ordered from them. No clothing but I got some bra strap holders for my Breezie bras I couldn't wear because of the straps falling down.  Fast free shipping.

@bargainsgirl Believe it or not, I was just going to ask about Temu.  I saw something approx 50% less than Amazon and wonder what kind of company this is and if anyone here has ordered from it.  Hope someone replies to our queries.

They are a Chinese company similar to Amazon and I recently found out they have a base/warehouse in the Boston area.  Personally, even though some of their things look interesting, I would never order anything from them knowing in advance that they are a Chinese company.  It's one thing when we have to buy things made in China that are shipped here to American companies that we buy from, but another to buy directly from a Chinese company that would now have my info.  No thank you.  That's my opinion for what it's worth.

They have a US headquarters in the northeast. I've ordered a few inexpensive items from them and was very pleased with them. There were no problems. I wouldn't order a gift item that I needed quickly. It's a fun place to pick up inexpensive fun items.
