We are sweltering in Santa Barbara. On the coast it was 104. Right now it is 101. No AC. Cats flopped on the floor by the fan. I am too old for this nonsense!

Arizona here and it's still in the 90's and supposed to be 99 on Monday. Maybe by Halloween. At least it isn't 95 at 6:00 in the morning anymore. It pretty much hits the high around 3:00 and starts dropping. It's in the high 60's low 70's in the mornings so great in the am.

Yikes! Guess I better not mention the 76 we had today.

I talked to my GF in San Diego earlier...it's 95 there. 101 is an oven! And no a/c is a nightmare. We finally cooled down here in the Carolinas...it's been around 80 the last few days and sunny with low humidity. We're loving it 'cuz the 10 days prior were rainy, chilly, and dreary. Hope for cooler weather for y'all tomorrow @hennypenny

It is supposed to be 95 here in the Houston area on Monday, "only" 89 here today. It would be nice to put away the sleeveless tops and skorts! 101 is ridiculous. What is up with all this hot weather??

It was as hot or hotter at the beach today than a few miles inland. 91 degrees in Santa Monica. I have a/c in my bedroom - which I pretty much never leave in this kind of weather :-( It's kind of like being held hostage. I've had enough. El Nino - bring it ON!

It's tough when you live in a place where it's normally not that hot and you don't have AC. My parents live in the east Bay Area of California and ran into that all summer.
Here it's in the 90s and 100s every day for the summer, but we do have AC. At least you're getting a break soon and it cools down at night. Here it's going to be in the 90s for the next week or more and while the report says we have a low of 64, that happens at 6:00 in the morning. My AC broke last week and I couldn't even open a window because it was in the 80s until midnight. We should have a cold front a week from now that may send us into the high 80s for a few days.
I only know it's fall because the office coffee stand has a sign advertising pumpkin spice lattes right next to the sign advertising iced strawberry lemonade.

I think if I lived where it got as hot as 100 degrees and I didn't have AC, I'd be out buying at least a window unit, especially since this may be the norm from now on.
It has cooled off beautifully here in the Albuquerque area. I've been wearing my cozy fleece shirt in the evenings but back to the 80's next week.

My son lives in SB, hennypenny. We were just on the phone talking about his hot temps. We had a much hotter than normal summer where I am near Seattle. I never thought we would put in a\c but so glad we did. Hope your temps break soon.
