Hmmm how does someone that says they hardly shop at the Q, become quite a good customer? Doesn’t make any sense. 😳

That's why I hope they compare actual data to the survey responses.  It just wouldn't make sense to put a lot of stock in survey responses from community members who don't do a lot of shopping at QVC.   My order history will show that I shop at QVC quite frequently.

@1tuffcookie I was actually referring to your posts about not shopping at the Q much and then being “quite a shopper” not making sense. But whatever…

I truly believe that the Q’s recent survey has nothing to do with how much money a person spends. They are just looking to see how many enjoy the community and whether it has helped their customer. I can tell from shopping here that the Q really cares about their customers.

Besides NO dollar amount is required to be spent to become a member of this community. And some of the Best Things in Life are actually FREE. 🤗🤗🤗

@RescueLover Seriously?  You're tracking my posts? This place is hysterical.  🤣

I guess you missed the one where I stated that I bought a diamond ring on Gem Day and the other one where I mentioned I bought 3 separate Aveda items in host Melissa's recent show on Q2 (scheduled for delivery this Friday--can't wait to try!)  I think purchasing 17 items since January (none due to anything posted in the Community) would characterize me as "quite a shopper," but, of course, you're welcome to disagree, and I don't mind at all if you do.

Yes, some of the best things in life are free.  While this forum may be free for community members, it no doubt operates at a cost for QVC.  Plus, there are issues with dealing with the negative (sometimes moderated) content and complaints.

As for whether or not QVC "really cares" about the customers, I guess that's open for debate since there are many examples to support both sides of that claim.

There are many other ways to interact with QVC and QVC fans/viewers, so it's not like people couldn't interact if the community were closed.  I don't think it's a good idea to get all worked up over something so speculative. However, I think it would be nice if QVC disclosed some details behind the intent of the survey and what they plan to do with the results (even if they are somewhat skewed--I just noticed that it's possible to take it on multiple devices).

Maybe this sounds mean, but why should I give my time and opinions filling out a survey, what's in it for me? Offer me a coupon of a percentage off or $5 off a future purchase, they're getting feedback for free.

no survey here     wonder if they read comments in their suggestion box     seems that might answer many questions in a survey

I finally received the survey on my phone this morning.

It is only a few questions, @Jordan2.

@tansy I mean surveys in general not any particular one. Companies have been known to pay for opinions. I remember a long time ago in the mall near me they conducted surveys. Someone would come up to you and ask if you had the time and interest in answering a few questions. They usually would give you $5 or $10 for your participation.

Re: Survey on Blogs and Forums

I finally filled it out because I was sick and tired of "asking" every time I sign on.
